ABOUT Gold Strike Village

Gold Strike Village is an affordable Recreational Vehicle & Manufactured Home Community located on the site of the Hageman Gold Mine in the historic rural community of San Andreas, Calaveras County, California. We're open year round and located in the oak-studded foothills, below the winter snow and above the winter valley fog.

ABOUT San Andreas

The sprawling town of San Andreas on Highway 49 in Calaveras County was named after San Andrés, the patron saint of Spain. Mexicans first discovered gold here, and by the early 1850s between a thousand and 1,500 miners were working the gullies and washes.

Today, San Andreas  and Calaveras County is a four-season travel destination located in California’s beautiful Gold Country and spectacular High Sierra between Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Just 2-1/2 hours from San Francisco and 3-1/2 hours from San Jose, Calaveras offers award-winning Sierra Foothills wineries and unlimited recreational opportunities.
